The contribution is built so you barely have to arrange anything on site. In every country:
On you
What to budget for on top of the program contribution:
Price differences
Housing and food simply cost more on Saint Lucia and in Costa Rica than in Nepal or Indonesia. That difference shows one-to-one in the contribution.
At one location you work with a small team and a handful of schools, at another with an organization reaching hundreds of kids a week. More structure means more fixed costs.
Part of your contribution goes straight to the project: equipment, salaries of local coaches and the daily activities. That share differs per country.
Where does it go
What is left after the cost of your stay and support goes back into the sports projects: balls and equipment, local coaches who can live from their work, and kids who would otherwise not play sports. You are not buying a holiday. You contribute to a project you are part of for a few weeks, and the part that stays local keeps it running after you leave.
Good to know
Yes. Four weeks is the base stay the prices are built on. Every extra week costs the amount in the table, from $210 in Indonesia, Nepal and Argentina to $295 in Costa Rica. Curaçao and South Africa get cheaper for long stays.
