Why intern with us

Real responsibility, real supervision, real credit.

Our internships are built with sports, PE, kinesiology, social work and international development students in mind. You coach, plan sessions, run events and help develop the program, with a coordinator on site who signs off on your hours and evaluations.

Everything is in English, we work with your school’s learning agreement and evaluation forms, and before you book a flight you speak with the coordinator who will supervise you.

  • Projects we founded ourselves
  • Video call with your coordinator first
  • Airport pickup and orientation

  • Personal pre-departure dashboard
  • Group chat before you leave

Questions we hear most

Which majors fit?

Sports management, kinesiology, PE and coaching, physical therapy and exercise science, social work, education, international development, communication and marketing. Tell us your program and we match you to a project and role.

How long is an internship?

From 4 weeks; most interns stay 10 to 20 weeks. Curaçao and South Africa have discounted rates for 10, 12 and 16 weeks.

Can I get academic credit?

Usually yes. Your coordinator supervises you on site, signs off on your hours and completes your school’s evaluation forms. Send us your learning agreement and we fill it in together.

What does it cost?

The same as volunteering: four weeks ranges from $985 (Indonesia, Nepal) to $1,595 (Saint Lucia), with cheaper extra weeks. No application fee or deposit.

Is a US or Canadian student eligible?

Yes. Our programs run in English and welcome students from all countries. Entry requirements differ per destination; we advise you after the intro call.

Can I do research for my thesis?

Often yes. Several of our programs were co-developed by interns, and coordinators are happy to support a research question that helps the project.
